Admit it or not, some people do look up the powers like fame, money, beauty and the fame of knowledge…this may make it easier to convince some people that the protesters in the movement are not all unemployed, unclean ‘miscreants’ and ‘misfits’. Again, it s not about who joined the movement. It s about the issues they address and ideas they promote.

And I don't think the fact that people may look up to Miley being relevant to the topic. Is she a person with a extensive knowledge or qualified to make judgements that are trying to affect other peoples perceptions? No. So far we have failed to establish: It s about the issues they address and ideas they promote. And I don't think Miley or any other celebrity you may pop out is going to address this current issue...

I'm awaiting a decent informed response from someone. I'm not against improvements, I don't think things are perfect. But I don't quite see how whinging about everything and doing nothing is going to achieve anything. So far it seems to have done more bad than good.

The occupy individuals have some fairly bizarre economic ideas. Increase Corporate tax, this will reduce the number of available jobs and increase unemployment. Increased unemployment reduces the countries tax take and increases Government spending and borrowing thus burdening future generations with increasing debt. Not allowing Governments to reduce total spending again will increase Government borrowing thus burdening future generations with increasing debt. Housing is not cheap, never has. One will not afford a house if one sits on one Gluteus maximus and does nothing. I love this one "We also decry the shameless exploitation and manipulation of our young people for profit by companies selling them unhealthy foods and debilitating products" So these individuals believe that our young have no will power and all decisions are made for them . What a load of rubbish. This is a beauty "We also denounce the destructive, systemic undermining of our economic self-sufficiency, the flooding of our local markets with cheap goods from overseas at the expense of local producers, the irrevocable sale to faceless foreign corporations of our precious lands and resources, and the shameless lack of social conscience exhibited by some of our companies." So they would rather the 99% be put is a worse position by being forced to purchase expensive items and not have access to low cost alternatives. The Occupy individuals would be better served returning to school and learning some real knowledge rather some trumped up Web rubbish. What a movement can do is to bring up the issues publically and push the government to act on it so as to improve the system. Government is in the position to make actual changes.

Yes a Government is in a position to make changes, those changes must be made for the greater good of the country as a whole. The issue is the very very small group that is the Occupy movement is not the Country as a whole although they make grandiose and erroneous claims that they are. He has written a lot of articles and given a lot of interviews but these two give a good idea of what he is thinking and saying.
