I'm trying to find somewhere that sells a basic LED mains powered bedside alarm clock.

These used to be common as mud, priced around $20.00 from the likes of DSE etc.

If you want one to dock your iPhone / have surround sound / make coffee etc. you are spoilt for choice, but can't seem to find a basic, small LED clock any more. Don't even need a radio in it!

The closest I've seen is this, but it's physically a bit big.

Anyone got any other ideas??

Perfect - thanks for that.

I'd searched the DSE site using "alarm clock" but if you look for "clock radio" there's several which will do just fine!

yes, it doesn't have the best search engine does it. It used to have a live search which displayed results as your typed, but the new website is so dumbed down.

Brilliant - thank you all for your help!

I see The Warehouse have a baisc one for $10.00, which tells the time, and has an alarm - everything I could wish for in an alarm clock :-)

I've been looking for an auto dimming digital clock for ages. I don't need a radio, an iPod dock, or anything else, just a clock that I can see at night that isn't too bright. Even one that doesn't auto dim is fine if it's pretty dim to start with. Anyone know where I can get one of those?

Sure, I thought about that, but I'd still have to find one to start with. A regular radio alarm clock from dse should be fine, but they're all pretty ugly.
