I just looked in the TV guide and I didnt see it listed on TV1 or Tv3, I thought oh well Sky must be showing it, but I cant see it there either.

Is it not being broadcast anywhere?

Cheers

Far out, Sky base fee, then you've probably got the sport add on anyway if you're into this sort of event, and then $40 on top of all that?!

I wonder if Sky and the event organisers are doing the Prostate Cancer Foundation a disservice. I would expect a reasonable percentage of the PPV revenue to go to the charity, but wouldn't they raise more funds (through requesting donation, 0900 number, TXT, etc.) if they had a bigger audience through normal subscriber channels or vene free-to-air.

I certainly won't be paying $40 to watch it, but probably would be watching if I didn't have to fork out that sort of $$$ and would then probaby be inclined to make a donation.

That's exactly how I feel.

The fact that every boxing match of note is now Pay Per View has really turned me off as a viewer and then to make a charity fight a PPV event as well - I might've been tempted at $10.00, but $40 is too much to watch amateurs wail away at each other.

Free To Air with constant requests for donations would have been a far better option, in my opinion.
