For a week or so I've been experiencing weirdness with a specific Trademe search which I have as a favourite.  Sometimes a certain result drops out of it, but what is strange is that if I simply swap the order of the two search terms, it comes back.  Even more strange, sometimes it goes the other way.

At the moment for me this search gives 3 results:

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/SearchResults.aspx?searchType=0001-0026-1255-&searchString=%22zzr+400%22+OR+zzr400

And this theoretically totaly equivalent one gives 2:

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/SearchResults.aspx?searchType=0001-0026-1255-&searchString=zzr400+OR+%22zzr+400%22

Doesn't matter if I'm logged in, or what browser I use, so I can rule out problems this end I think, but I'm just wondering if it's not a TelstraClear proxy issue.

Does anybody else see this?

I've had the same issue searching for Evo 1 RS

Some times it displays all relevant results, and other times it shows no results

Sounds like an issue with Trademe's search engine as opposed to something ISP related

Yes I think it must be  problem at TM, going through hidemyass.com gives the same problem, 3 for one, 2 for the other.

Only reason I thought maybe it was proxy related was somebody on the TM forums reckond that they saw 3 on both, and when I removed the favourite and looked at the search again, sometimes it would say it was Saved (incorrectly), and sometimes not (correctly).

Database replication issue or something is my guess.

I receive three results on the first URL and two on the second (TC cable) same as OP. That is definitely weird.

Yep back to 3 & 2 for me again.  Got to be some sort of database replication or load balancing issue at Trademe.

Maybe we have a Trademe developer member of Geekzone who would like to have a look.

I have heard from a source that this is a very common issue, it has been reported and fixed many times yet something seems to break each time it is fixed.
