Testing the non HTML editor for posting comments. Have had lots of difficulty with the rich editor, the auto correct freaks out and often changes groups of words into other words entirely. This seems better. So far learned that going to another tab on iPad safari will make this text entry disappear. Sigh.
Do bold tabs work like I would expect? Do I need to close tags?
This text is italics. Fancy italics. This test is strikethrough and this test is underlined. Hopefully. It is a bit of a pain manually typing these tags on the iPad keyboard, but not too bad.
This should show a link to www.westie.geek.nz Aha! I see I need to make it a complete URL with "http://" This should show a link to my website
How does an img tag work?
How does a YouTube tag work? Ah, I understand at last, I only need to put the short string from the YouTube URL between the flags.
freitasm: Joseph, we do not have spell checker in our rich text editor. Blame your browser ;-)
Oh yep indeed, it is the iPad Safari auto correct. It seems to act up a bit in the rich text editor. Often I can't get a "cursor" to put in a specific place of the text, and can only type or delete the last character in the window. More often is that the iPad autocorrect will think that say "hello there" is one word, will highlight the two words together, and autocorrect it to "however" or something else irrelevant. It's very odd and frustrating.
This doesn't seem to happen in the HTML editor, so I thought I should learn how to use it fully :)
