I have been with click since the end of last year when my previous ISP went bust and click picked up the accounts. This month I see that they have charged me twice the normal sum - it shows as having gone from my bank a few days ago and tonight the service has gone. My modem claims that authentication is failing.

I do hope that this is not a sign that click are going bust and are helping themselves to whatever they can grab on the way out but it is not a good look.

To anyone thinking of click, I would suggest holding off at least until the situation becomes clear.

I'm also with Click for the same reason as you, and I also have no internet since sometime last night!

Under Network Issues there website states: 'No network issues found' obviously not a very dynamic page :-/

Hopefully you guys are paying by credit card not bank direct debit so you can reverse this charge if they have gone bust and done a dirty.

Unless they are niche to a particular geographic area small ISP's like this tend to go bust or get acquired, suggest changing to a reasonable sized reputable ISP.

Back up and working again, not sure what the issue was, hopefully they report back soon. It sounds like they upgraded some hardware last night and forgot to tell people there might be an outage.

Yes, it came back for me too and a friend at work reported the same thing.

I did get a reply to a trouble ticket to the effect that it was some Chorus related problem.

I guess, well done to Click regarding getting it back up but it would have been far better to see something on their status page reporting the issue in real time.
