When running a Dynalink RTA1320 in half bridge (IP extension) should it pass through more than one DNS server when it serves the IP address to the router?

I've got one running 3.64y firmware. It picks up two DNS servers assigned by the ISP when you look at the status page, but whatever device you connect to the 1320 only gets one of these servers.

Can anyone else running one in half bridge confirm if they see the same thing?

Yes, this does seem to be the case.
My setup is a RTA1320 on a TelstraClear ADSL connection, receiving its address information via DHCP.  The modem is bridged to a router running Tomato firmware.

$ telnet modem
Trying 10.0.0.1...
Connected to Modem.
Escape character is '^]'.
Dynalink ADSL2+ Router RTA1320NZ TelstraClear
Software Version: 3.30j
Login name:
Password:
> cat /etc/resolv.conf
nameserver 203.97.78.44
nameserver 203.97.78.43

and,
$ ssh router
Tomato v1.28.0497 MIPSR2-Toastman-VLAN-RT-N K26 USB Ext
$ cat /etc/resolv.dnsmasq
nameserver 203.97.78.44

Rubicon: Dynalink ADSL2+ Router RTA1320NZ TelstraClear

On a completely unrelated note, where does the "TelstraClear" part of this line come from? I'm not with TCL (although I was in the past) but telnet returns "TelstraClear" for me too. I can't see it anywhere in the web admin interface!

With regards to the RTA1320NZ TelstraClear message, the modem I have was a freebie TelstraClear were giving to new customers in 2009. The firmware is probably not Dynalink standard. I'm not too sure what modifications have been made other than the telnet welcome message.

Yes this is a problem with the half bridge implementation in the Dynalink.

The Linksys AM300 passes through two and so does the TP Link TD-8840 from memory.

I simply override them in tomato, with the primary, secondary, and Google DNS as the third.

Thank you, so I haven't missed something then!
