Hi just looking at moving to another ISP.

Some points to take into account:
1) Only using 1-2GB/month
2) Don't really care too much about speed

Thinking it'll probably be Xnet River HSI Pay Per Meg especially as I can get a $50 for a friend referral (think they still do those...).  Been to nzconnection.net (looks like it might need updating as it still mentions Xnet's Stream plan, which doesn't feature on Xnet's website currently).

If you're changing, why don't you tell us who you're currently with / what you're currently paying (and for what)?

Sure thing, didn't think it mattered particularly, starting over de novo, tabula rosa, that sort of thing (mentioned that I was changing mainly to indicate free modem deals wouldn't influence my choice, already got one).  Currently on Xtra Basic.

It does matter since it's not worth us or myself mentioning plans which cost more (or give less for a few cents less) than your current one. Smile

Out of curiosity, do you mind being on 256k/128k?

Actrix have a very decent 256k plan for $28/mth with 70MB/day. That'd have to be the cheapest plan I know of.

Actrix plan does look attractive, can't blow any budget because they throttle after you've used your allocation.  There is a $40 transfer fee (Xnet is $25.).  Hmm.
