Why is the main Availability info in an iFrame that is set with 630px x 580px strict dimensions?

http://www.chorus.co.nz/sat

I'm constantly having to use the scroll bar to scroll across to get the end of a cabinet/exchange name that is always being cut off by the constricting iFrame.
It seems a bit stupid to make people constantly scroll around to find the info they want.

Does anyone else find this extremely annoying?

/rant over.

I suppose I should probably send an email to Chorus to voice my concerns, but I thought I would just post here to rant about it first. ;-)

The old page on Telecom wholesale was a wider layout, when they moved it to chorus looks like they took the lazy way of getting it into the Chorus site.

Typical, they don't have an email address on their "Contact Us" page.

Does anyone on geekzone work for Chorus?
Or does any one know someone from Chorus that can pass along a suggestion to change the width of the iFrame?

Cheers :)

Ahh, much better.
Cheers for that.

I'd still like to see the Chorus page tidied up though.

There's an email address at the bottom of the SAT page.

Indeed there is. Did not see that. Immediately went looking on the "Contact Us" page.

Thanks for pointing it out. :)

The 2Telco tools are much better in my view. The whole browser space is used.

I agree that both Chorus and the govt bb map tool are a little annoying.

The problem is that I would guess those projects are done by contractors who have long since moved on to something else and now people who have a love for the work so continue to keep improving it.

The Chorus website still needs a lot of work - there are still dead links and spelling mistakes.

But it looks nice so they are probably not going to care too much.

Update.

Sent an email at around the time that I started this topic, and only just got a reply a few days ago.
Apparently it will be forwarded to the web development team.

Better than nothing I guess.

Indeed it is.
I actually checked on an address about a week ago and noticed it was a lot tidier, but forgot to post back here to update.

Kudos to Chorus. :)
