Hah! As it turns out Hosting Direct have blocked me from their Twitter, but nothing written on there about it, The Party's twitter is now inactive + their website is dead so this is the end.

Wow. They didn't even last five months. Looks like someone's business plan had some holes in it...

Did you have codev.co.nz hosted there per chance? Because that's down.

https://www.facebook.com/ThePartyIsp

This seems to be redirecting to the Facebook main page.

The Party ISP really has just fallen off the face of the earth.

Well, except for this Google cached page
http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:-BzAhcF5LpgJ:www.theparty.co.nz/aboutus.php+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=nz

codev.co.nz is long gone, just haven't updated here.

There is a message on their support phone number too, saying they are no longer providing internet services: 0508 272 789

Trust HD to put up a page like that - specifically spelling out non-payment is quite unprofessional but par for course for HD

I had a good old chat with Ben when I called up about it.
Was rather interesting. Won't post the information here though, don't want to cause problems for them.

I don't really see how that is unprofessional - the consumer has a right to know why their internet has been disconnected.

HD have come a looong way since the old days :)
It definitely seems fair enough to let the consumer know what's happened.
I wonder how many customers they actually had.

Good point.

It was nice while it lasted however, I could max out my line 24/7.
Didn't really expect them to stick around though

Ben will be Ben is all I can say and I don't see that changing any time soon.
