Hi, wonder if anyone can help ? I'm using (or trying to use) both Twonky 7 and Twonky 6, to shift files from my Panasonic DVD recorder to PC.
Two main problems, first seeing the recorder.  This initially worked in T7 but after a while it wasn't there or there only sometimes.
T6 so far seems more stable.  To copy the files I right click the name and choose Save Link As.

Sometimes  '.htm' is added to the 'Save Link As' filename and you end up with a zero byte file. Other times that doesn't happen and you can transfer the whole file. (Although if it's DTCP protected it won't play.)

T6 was OK to start with, but then like T7 started adding .htm.  I rebooted and the next attempt DID transfer a file OK.

I'm trying to find out what causes the difference, and if you can lock in some means to stop the 'htm' being added ?  I realise 'Save Link As' may be meant to save shortcut only, but there's no 'Save As', and why does it work one time and not the next?

Any help appreciated, thanks.

Cheers - Kirk
