Given that their countdowns are all wrong though it'll be interesting to see what actually happens at 1am; I'm gonna wait up for it. :) (EDIT: I also submitted a question to them about it but no reply yet)

Oh. I think I get it now. The website seems to be going off the visitor's system clock. Is that correct? That means the website is already calculating that the sale has started, and is applying discounts based on the 2-hourly cycle.

Just wondering with this offline backup system, has anyone actually done a full PC restore from the data, and were there any problems such as very slow transfer / missing data/ data corruption etc

From their server it would be pretty slow. But I back up to a folder in the machine, and another machine in my network and to cp for offsite. Depending on network and disk speed it relatively fast. It's not an image backup though, so I wouldn't be doing a full system restore as you can't generally restore your os files while they're in use. Mostly works for data backups. Wow seems a lot of work. I am using a local crowd - iBUS (ibus.co.nz). Been very happy. Have done a restore with no problems. Do my own image for full recover and fire data to ibus. I believe they are creating multi pc plan.

Ive almost got all my important stuff backed up. As I only paid for it month by month I am thinking of signing up again on the deal to get a year for free/dirt cheap. Getting mum to sign up too since she needs a backup stratigy that isnt any work for me ;) Richard rich.ms

Dunno, one thing Ive noticed on their facebook page is a lot of people are really annoyed they haven't done anything for existing users. You can alienate your existing customers at the cost of people who may just be signing up for a free lunch. Facebook though is a place where people go to complain and rant.
