My wife has a customer at work who has problems with her two computers and is looking for an affordable and reliable computer business to help. I manage my own computers, so I haven't used any businesses in Palmerston North. Can anyone recommend a good place in Palmerston North?
By way of background to the "problems", the customer in question is disabled and only has the use of one arm. She has two very old computers - one has Windows 95 installed - the other Windows XP. The hard drive in the 95 unit is failing and she would like to get the XP one up and running with the games she has on the 95 unit. She needs someone to come and set up the XP computer for her as she cannot lift it. She uses a joystick for these games, which she finds easier to use and therapeutic. She is aware that she may need to purchase adapter cables (PS2 to USB etc) in order to do this. Alternatively, she may need advice and installation services for a new hard drive in the 95 unit. Ideally, we're looking for a business that is affordable and reliable, that can help this customer with her computers.
