Dick Smith recommended D-Link USB Modem Router.You don't want a modem router. Modem routers have adsl WAN interfaces (for plugging into a POTS line) which won't work with your setup. You need a broadband router with an Ethernet WAN interface.
It isn't clear how she is going to get her broadband. ThinAir normally delivers broadband and VOIP by high-speed wifi, hence her aerial. So I'm figuring she is going back to a POTS (actually called PSTN in NZ) connection, in which case she will need an ADSL2+ modem-router."
Any ideas on what I do? I'm getting more and more confused. Do I still need the aerial?
