Office 365 premium is great value for anyone that is going to load it on more than 1 machine. 20GB extra SkyDrive storage + 60 free Skype minutes/month.

Office 2013 is 1 license only.

That page is kind of useless in terms of information.

What does "Office 365 Home" include? Is it hosted Exchange with five licences and web-based only apps, or client apps as well? Or is not hosted Exchange at all?

There is no information to base anything from that page or the subsequent pages.

the way I read it is you're renting the locally installed apps, not a hosted service

I've passed the feedback on, but since it makes no mention of Cloud Services I'm not sure why anyone would assume it comes with them

is it because of the name? Office 365?

WTF, why are they not digital downloads? Who needs stock in 2013?!

Yes, the "Office 365" throws me into "cloud mode" because of the branding. Too confusing having two different product lines with same name.

People buy to use this at home. They lose DVD, they would probably lose the ISO downloads even more easily. Probably download and can't find later, and so on.

Yeah I must admit as soon as I saw Office 365 Home Premium I was expecting to see some kind of hosted service along with the software, Exchange Online with limited storage or something. Had to do a doubletake when I saw that it was just Office.

Although I like the Skype calling minutes.....

And is the 20GB for SkyDrive? If you've already got 25GB will that be another 20GB on top of that?

Apple distribution has proven that's not a big issue any more.

At least have the option for a download as well as physical would be nice.

Apologies for the daft question but does this mean the office365 home premium replaces the old office family pack with three licences. But now you have five and it's a yearly subscription rather than outright purchase?

Office 365 premium is 100% subscription based model and pricing. Office 2013 is simply now licensed for 1PC only.
