PhantomNZ: For those waiting for the 920 to hit NZ, you might be out of luck. Nokia have announced the countries that will be getting them this year and NZ isn't on that list. I'd love to be wrong though.

You're wrong...

Source? Or do you know when we might be able to see them?

Actually, where I read that has got the info wrong. The Nokia press release says we won't get them in November.

I completely agree!

I wasn't happy after seeing that Nokia press release, but with this I'm happy again

Thanks internet guy for sharing your wisdom.

Now how about a meat for this manwich and letting us know maybe just a little bit more detail rather than flexing your lovely arrogance.

I think people should know by now sometimes we can't reveal sources.

And no need for personal attacks. I don't take lightly to that.

I hope it's true too. I've been wanting one of these for months. I was an early adopter with my trusty HTC 7 Trophy, am a developer with published apps and a Microsoft partner too.

I don't get all the secrecy with this launch. We knew about the devices a while back, the OS launch didn't really reveal anything we didn't already know and now that it's been launched, we still can't find out availability or pricing of devices. Nokia NZ aren't saying a thing, neither are the telcos. At least Microsoft NZ said they'll be updating their site on the 7th.

I have the cash, I would probably even pay double for one if I could get it now. Why won't someone just take my money already :(

At least with other devices (android, iOS etc), they have a launch event, if not instantly, a few days later they'll reveal pricing and availability and then customers know. Here I am with about 50 tabs open, refreshing pages every once in a while hoping I can find something out and find someone that will ship it to NZ. The question is, should I piece together all the ifs and maybes I've found that hint we might get it in NZ, or do I trust the official press release that says nothing of the sort and look to source it myself. At the moment I'm swinging more to the latter, but would love for some more info on an NZ release.

I have money to buy a new phone. i saw lumia 920 - i thought i may try it.

Then nokia did not even mention anything about the availability to buy it locally (NZ).

By end of this weekend, if no update, i might as well get a new galaxy note2.

Poor, crappy marketing and execution by NOKIA.

^ If you need a biz size screen phone, then why not pre-order the Samsung Ativ S from Warehouse Stationary for $799. You also get a free copy of Windows 8 Pro upgrade with it and go in the draw to win one of five Samsung Ativ Smart PC worth $1299. It's a 4.8" screen and it's a great WP8 handset.

I'm impatient and am not specifically being catered to. Screw Nokia *waaaah waaaaaah!*
