NZtechfreak: The extra pull their wildly successful and publicised Kickstarter campaign has brought them has certainly allowed them to start talking to some players and services that make the Ouya a much more compelling platform, for sure.
Indeed it has. It will be interesting to see how long these conversations last. I was hoping to see some more images of the device by now but 'limited edition' brown is fine by me.

Plex is a big deal for me, means I will be able to take the Mac Mini I'm currently using and tuck it into a corner somewhere and just use it as a media server. Sure, I could've bought another Apple TV and hacked it, but the Ouya will output 1080p should I so wish.

With XBMC, Plex, Namco/Bandai & Square/Enix partnerships (among others) if this thing actually eventuates, it's going to be a pretty handy little unit for the price. Hopefully at least a few fun titles show. For the price I'm not expecting any Triple-A titles, and not much longevity, but it has the potential to be great value-for-money.

"You are" = "You're" - Not "Your".  "They are" = "They're" - Not "Their" or "There".  You probably mean "lose" not "loose".  There's no such word as "Alot".

On the internet, wasting time, since '89.

you can still preorder these from ouya.tv, if you missed out on the kickstarter project.

with xbmc confirmed its really a great buy, roughly $150NZD for one controller and the console, less than an ATV :)
