Hi, Sorry if this has been asked before. Have had a look back through posts and haven't found anything. Is there any way of knowing when accessing a web sight if the content is metered or not? I understand some servers are unmetered, but how do you tell?.
Thanks,
Cloudy

This varies between ISP's as they're the ones that are charging you for the data. You could find out easily by calling them.

thanks, yeah I've seen that but seems to me it really tells you nothing. What I mean is when I log into a sight how do I know its on an Akamai server for instance or any of the other ones that xnet provides free content from?

actually that's our problem as well, we don't know what is being put on the caches , generally you will find that a lot of stuff will be cached but we cant ever guarantee content on them
