The Xnet usage monitor Firefox extension (v 1.4.3) doesn't seem to be compatible with Firefox 4.

Is this the latest version avaialble?

firefox 4 has only been out 2 days, i would imagine only the very latest extensions to be compatiable with it. Even more so considering it can take upto 1 week for updates to an extension to be approved by mozilla.

Thanks for that info. I was trying to confirm that v 1.4.3 was the latest though?

With the new meter it'd be nice if it could be put up in the bookmarks toolbar, and only show a small icon. A small icon is key, don't want a huge bar taking up space (could perhaps be enabled if desired). Don't really want to have to re enable the bottom status bar thing, only for the usage monitor either.

Well, looks as though v1.4.7 is now out, and works with Firefox 4.

Thanks Xnet Smile

Thanks for the update.  I installed it but couldn't see the icon until I figured out you need the "Add-on Bar" enabled (Ctrl+/) Smile

Any way of moving it out of the menu bar? Just wasting space with no other add-ons. Not using if because of that.

Other option is to use the tray icon which gives the same info, but also as a desktop widget (using XP, don;t know what it looks like on 7).
