Trying to shorten a long story here - been using a Netcomm NB6Plus4W as my modem for approximately four years and recently it started loosing the wireless signal. I replaced it with a Netcomm NB6Plus4Wn which is working fine.

I want to put the 4W back into service so I can plug in my TV, PVR and Blu Ray player into its ethernet ports (as those devices do not have wireless functions), receiving the internet from the 4Wn via wireless.

Can this be done?
I know the modem has a tick box in the settings to be used as a repeater, but I am not sure if that means I can use its ethernet ports with that function selected.
