I've currently just switched from Vodafone to snap and now have a spare vodafone (Huawei echolife HG556a) wireless router

I've got a Few devices that aren't accessible to the fritzbox via LAN cable and aren't WIFI capable

is their anyway to client bridge the Vodafone router to the Fritzbox via wifi so i can connect the LAN cables to the vodafone router and connect to my devices

i also have a telecom wireless Thompson router aswell

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

It's probably locked down, so you won't be able to configure it as a Wi-Fi Client/bridge.

Same goes for the Thompson I suspect.

Go buy a Wi-Fi AP which does it, they can be had fairly cheaply is my understanding.

Or, maybe stating the obvious, move the Fritz!Box near to the devices which require Wired LAN?

You'll need to buy a wireless bridge or AP with bridge capability if you want to do that.

I'm not familiar with either device, but you would be looking in the wifi settings for something like 'client mode' or 'wifi bridge', and then disabling DHCP on the Thomson or Echolife.

Having said that, not many consumer routers offer such an option, especially not ISP customised models
