Am wanting to purchase some network cabling in the next day or two and am just after some advice. I believe I want about 50-100m of cat6 black cabling suitable for outdoor use.

Here is where I intend to run some of it: http://img408.imageshack.us/img408/6402/img9141.jpg The image on the left with green is where I plan on running it from the lounge with the media center round the side of the house to a point in the other room that will have a gigabit switch and a soon to be upgraded server 08 machine. As you may be able to make out in the right image, you can see it follows the same path as the RG6 satellite cabling. I'm also planning on running from another point hence the lenth.

Basically, where should I be looking for cabling? I'm having trouble finding 50-100m of black UV resistant cat6 cabling. Am happy to purchase online, but is there any where in chch I could go that's affordable?

Thanks in advance guys!

Hi, I have cat5 outdoor, but no cat6, do you really need cat6? also are you running two runs over the same path, would not a $25 switch at the far end be cheaper and a lot less hassle.

Cyril
