Hi, yes you can run both on the same line, you say voip line, is this a phone POTS line from the ATA or are you putting a IP phone at this location.

I am assuming you want to run a normal pots/phone line back to the VOIP ATA port, then its fine to run a single cat5 run, terminate it fully (all 4pairs) and use a line splitter at each end to get a data and phone circuit (product C-RJ45LT4) as linked below

Only limitation of using above splitters (or by doing it hardwired in the socket which I recommend you dont) is that you can only do 100Mb/s FastEthernet never GigE, as GigE uses all 4pairs.

Hi,

Yes - I am wanting to run a normal pots phone back to the voip ata that would then go into the router. So with the C-RJ45LT4 does the data cable (from the second AP) go into the end with two ports along with the phone... and then you connect the one ethernet line into the switch of which runs back to another C-RJ45LT4 and into the voip ata? Have I got it right?... How does it split the data and voip at the end with the router and ata?

... Im happy with 100mbps... its more than ill need anyway....

Thanks

Hi, you put a splitter at each end, then that will split out a phone circuit and a data circuit.
