The NAS would have to run Apache, PHP and MySQL, as well as doing its normal file sharing stuff.
Can anyone recommend a brand and model that I should be looking at? It would be great if I could do this without voiding the warranty by playing around with the software on the NAS box, but I understand that it might be necessary.
The NAS would only be servicing two or three workstations, no need for access via the Internet.
