Hi there

Have got the new modem Netcomm Wireless N300 NB304N from my ISP Kinect and I have a new External Hardrive which I can use to plug into the modem and computers on the network can share and save files using wifi and ENet.

Trouble: The Manual and Online help will not tell me how to access the external drive on the network there is no set address? There is a user account set up but no specific access to the drive to get the content.

Any Help will be appreciated very much

Thankyou

Hi Josh,

Firstly, can you see the drive if you click My Computer?
If so, go to Tools, Map Network Drive ... select the drive letter menu and see if it is listed under a specific drive letter and name ... these can be changed to something more appropriate if required.

R.

I have this modem, and it's a bit technical to setup.

The section below will help you:

NB604n - USB Storage Setup Guide (PDF)

http://support.netcommwireless.com/product/xdsl/nb604n

I've also set this up to use on my new fibre, using port 1 to connect to the fibre connection despite being told I would need to spend $140 for a new one.

Hope this helps.

Kari
