Hi,

Is there a way to upgrade cisco 5505 asa from 10-user directly to unlimited security plus license. Does this require two licenses or one license can serve the purpose.

One license to upgrade the 10-user to unlimited and second license to upgrade to security plus.

OR

Can one license upgrade to unlimited and security plus.

Hi,

If the upgrade to security plus license is done and then we upgrade 10 to unlimited users, will it show unlimited security plus license?

IIRC, the sec plus license is a separate item (L-ASA5505-SEC-PL). So if you start with a 10 user device, you would need to purchase:

A) the upgrade from 10 > unlimited
B) the extra license for security plus features

Shouldn't matter which order.
