Ive just picked up a new ipad and its also my first. Looking for some good games and apps. What web sites are good to get game reviews and info for ipad. There are so many games on itunes hard to always find good ones.

One of the best games I've had on my iPad has to be Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery. Pretty immersive, great 8 bit style, really nice gameplay and a great soundtrack to boot. http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/superbrothers-sword-sworcery/id424912055?mt=8

Congrats and welcome to the Apple family For new users I strongly recommend AppStart (free) or AppAdvice (paid) which can be found in the App Store Other than that start form the Top Charts and work your way down.

I second that. I have AppAdvice and love it. I regularly have a look to see what new apps are out there.

For games, it all depends on your tastes, dunnit. My favs: FreeCell and Solitaire - many versions but in each case I like the MobilityWare versions. Carcassonne Draw Something

I have AppAdvice and Padvance in my rss feed (using Reeder, awesome rss app for iPad). My fave games are Settlers of Catan (game is called Catan HD, 12 bucks if you buy the expansion for campaign mode which you must do, but worth every cent. You can easily get 12 hrs game play out of it). AirSupremacy is good arcade style flying game, iBomber Pacific is good tower defense game. Osmos is one of my all time favourite iPad games, not optimized for retina unfortunately. Cheers, Joseph

Lilly: Draw Something I love Draw Something too. It's a terrible time waster! There's a lot of idiots or kids who just want to write the word and that's a pain. But when you get someone who wants to take it a bit more seriously, it's a lot of fun. I have been playing for about three weeks against a guy in New Orleans and we are up to 90 games without a miss. Thinking of getting a stylus to make it a bit easier/better. EDIT: My DS username is NZKiwiCJ - call me sometime.

I've done it once myself because I had three really dodgy words and I had no idea how to draw any of them. I've just started a game with you. I'm at 103 with one of my friends!
