Hi team.
I have an iPad 1 running latest ios and I'm having trouble getting VPN to work. I want to be able to log into my Company network but I can't get it sorted. Any one in Chch that has it working and is willing to give me any advise in return for a beer or 3.

Are you using Telecom, Vodafone or 2degrees as your 3G connection?

Or WiFi?

If you're using Telecom 3G - change your APN to internet.telecom.co.nz. Something about the last iOS update changed this, or maybe it was their carrier pack, I don't recall, but changing the APN resolved it for me on iPhone and iPad when trying to use Cisco VPN.

I'm using Telecom 3G when out and about and wifi at home. My company uses Cisco software on our laptops.

Yeah I reckon it'll be your APN setting. Unless it also doesn't work on WiFi....?

APN setting is fine. Wont work on 3G or wifi.
