yeah, i allready purchased it for my 3gs and tomtom were menat to send a free adapter for the iphone 4 but no one has recieved it yet. grr

I ordered mine the day it was announced and are still waiting Tomtom really are a bit slack about their followup and customer service.

Yeah I'm in the same boat. Ordered they day they became available and haven't heard or seen anything since.

Depending on if you are keen to Jailbreak you can use RoqyBT to connect to a cheap bluetooth GPS.

Works nicely with TomTom and other GPS apps on my iPod Touch

RoqyBT isnt free though (its only 8 euros though) so I guess you need to look at the overall cost, its useful if you happen to have a bluetooth GPS lying around.

Really not relevant to this thread. We've already got TomTom carkits and are awaiting the small free official adaptor so that our iPhone 4's will be able to use the carkits.

If we wanted a 3rd party option we'd simply stick a bit of velcro to our carkits to make them work! No need for jailbreaking
