This is for all iPad users out there.
What are you using to Create / View / Edit word / excel docs.

I have an email from Google saying that Google Docs will now work on the iPad, and it includes create/view/edit.

I will try it over the next few days.

Wow, amazing. Apple has sold millions of iPads the world over and only 1 user is on Geekzone. Lol.

Here, I will help you... I've changed the subject to something meaningful that would actually attract people to read your question and answer.

Also, it's the weekend. Our busiest day of the week is Wednesday. I wouldn't expect many replies on a weekend.

A quick search of the Business class apps in the iTunes App store will give a few options.
eg. Documents to Go, Quick Office etc.

Personally I haven't needed or used word or excel for 6+ years  but I do use Pages, Numbers & Keynote which I have installed on my MacBook Pro and my iPad.

I am using Office2 HD. Works great with DOC, DOCX and XLS but not XSLX. I keep the documents in Dropbox and Google Docs and select them to edit when I need them. For the rest of the time, they are accessible from the desktop at those locations using the respective MS tools (i.e. Word and Excel).

Cheers Mike
