Morning all Laughing I have an I Phone 4S that I managed to jailbreak all by my self using abasynth .I'm quite proud of this fact because I am a complete noob as far as my ios goes. I have two questions for you.

1. If I upgrade to ios 6 and jailbreak my device with evasion will any of the tweaks I have made already stop working?

2. I keep getting an error message in regards to something called hackalous when I open cydia. I have no idea what or how this got on my phone but a little investigation  via google explained it a language that is just a little to complicated for this guy. So can you tell me in simple terms how to get rid of it??

Many thanks in advance Smile

There are programs to backup and restore the tweaks but in most cases its just as easy to reinstall them
An iPhone backup has always kept my tweak settings for me

hackulous is from installous which installed the cracked applications, They have shut the site down
Open Cydia, go to Sources and delete repo.hackulo.us

Thanks for the quick reply. When you say I Phone backup are you referring to backing up via iTunes?

it's unlikely your iphone backup (to itunes) will retain any tweak settings from cydia added apps.

just upgrade your phone to iOS 6.1, rejailbreak, and then add the apps again manually.

in the end it's probably just quicker doing that than trying to back up all the cydia settings and restoring them on the new version.
