Hi All,

Wanting a HVR-4400 PCI-e x 1 card with WinTV software, remote and all adaptors required.

Wanting to pay around $80 but feel free to correct me if this is unrealistic.

I have just purchased a HVR-1200 but I feel I could do better and want to be able to take the feed from the Sky dish to get Freeview HD via Satalite as I don't have a UHF arial and live is a fairly poor coverage area to use an internal arial.

Could be keen on partial swap for what I have.

I know a little more than nothing but not much...

Unfortunately, FreeviewHD is not available on satellite, so Freeview would be SD using the HVR-4400 or any DVB-S card you get.

UHF aerials aren't that expensive and hard to install if you are keen on getting HD and keeping the HVR-1200 you already have.

Thankyou for the correction, I had mistakenly thought that Freeview HD would be available on satellite.

Pitty about that!

Yeah, it is a shame - especially since Sky is rebroadcasting TV1 TV2 and TV3 in HD encyrpted!
