As above. 720p, 3xHDMI.

Looking for a smaller screen, but just not sure what this is worth to sell, if anything (but too big for the bedroom and whats the point storing it?).

As a starting point for you, I had a 60" ST30, less than a year old. Just sold it last week for $2k.

Not sure really, I've seen a 55" LG (2012 model) for $799 at Farmers the other day. Was full HD but only 2 HDMI (why would they do that?).

I think you'd be very lucky to get $700.

Thanks, I'd be stunned if I got as high as $700 for it I think.

Yeah I was being polite.  As above, you can get brand new, current model 720P 50" sets, with freeview built in for $799.  2nd hand, with no freeview, you'd be talking $550 maybe?

I'd be spending a bit more if I was buying, to get the warranty etc.  Limited hdmi ports is no problem if you have freeview built in, and especially if you have a receiver anyway.

The size is nice but non-1080p and non-Freeview is going to put a lot of people off and TV's seem to be plummeting in price (mine is about 9 months old and has been replaced by a newer model that is 30% cheaper than the price we paid!). I think about $500 is realistic as Panasonic is a decent brand and 50" is still a big chunk of screen even without the other features.

I'd say whack it on Trademe with a $1 reserve, you will get what it is worth.

I would consider paying up to $400 for a Pana that size.

Not in a big rush, as I have a few months up my sleeve till it becomes an issue (its going into a very small lounge, and just dominates the room, which is the opposite of what I want really.

If anyone had a 37" to trade I could be interested. (Im in Hawkes Bay).

If I were you I'd be talking to trig42.

On the plus side its a good size set that is "good enough" feature wise (ie 720p) for a lot of people and it's not too expensive, so it has a wide market. On the down side you can get so much brand new TV for your money these days from retailers.. and they come with CGA.

These sets are are ideal for people on freeview Sat only. That's SD only and requires an external tuner box anyway.
