We have a brand new Fisher & Paykel 5.5KG WashSmart washing machine for sale. This was an unwanted prize in a recent competition, and is in its original unopened packaging. The RRP for this model is $999, and the cheapest I've seen it for sale is $694.

We have contacted Fisher & Paykel, and they have confirmed that the standard product warranty will apply to whoever purchases this from us.

If you are interested, PM me with a reasonable offer. I am in West Auckland, so only do so if you can arrange pickup from here.

I've tried selling it on TradeMe, but the auction closed with no takers. I thought I'd see if any fellow Geekzoners were interested before listing it again.

Thanks for the heads up, John. That may explain why we've had difficulty selling this.

We did the research when we initially listed it 3 weeks ago, and the RRP was $999. Most retailers were selling it for about $100 less than that, with PriceSpy listing the cheapest price at $694 (and that is still the case today).

Edit: Fixed broken link

Prompted by an offer that fell through at the 11th hour, we have reduced the Buy Now price on the TradeMe auction to $550
