Just wondering if steam will be unmetered, i mean they have a chache and it's within their own network so i guess they should be able too..

Had to up our internet plan to 100GB for next month so i can download all the games i have waiting since i have about 5gb left on our 50gb plan :/

even if they had some kind of add on like snap have for unmetered access to a selection of their content servers...

They don't offer 'unmetered' traffic to the Steam content server.

Hi there,

I know what you mean, steam sales are murder on my data allowance.

I'll pass on the feedback.

Cheers,
Warren

it's only $10 to go from 50GB to 100GB.  surely you aren;tdownloading that much stuff from Steam that an extra 50GB isn't enough?

Personally, I'd much rather have the extra data to use on whatever I want than have unlimited acess to a site of my ISPs choice.

With the price of data becoming cheaper, maybe slingshot could lower the price of datablocks or increase the size 3* for the same price. 150gb of non expireing data for $50

+1 for Unmetered steam content. I am trying to get my collection back after losing a HDD, and I can only download 2 or 3 games a month on my data cap, I still need some left for normal browsing too.

I would love to be able to get them all back, with no data cost :)
