Hey, My net just stopped, also got a cell call from my mother saying she gets an engaged tone when trying to call.  The modem can't authenticate, can't call SS either, from my landline or cell.
Hmm

Yep me too - but it has just come back online now. The www.slingshot.co.nz site is down as well...could be something significant at their end...

Just came on here. Still have no dial tone on phone, just net working. Located in West Auckland btw

Was getting sync, but was failing PPP authentication previously, still no luck on getting through to SS.

A mate of mine who works there is starting soon, shes going to update me on whats happening.

Mine went down too around 11am, back up now.

Quite alot died ... including 2talk services..

Apparently someone on the tech team rebooted the core switch(es) without failing over to the backups first.

.... Genius...

We are in Timaru/South Canterbury and our phone line still worked but out net was down. Back working now.

Some customers may have experienced an outage for broadband and calling, this should have been resolved now - sorry!

Yep everythings working here, experiencing some slower than normal speed though, ill just give it some time and hope it clears up
