The later start is a welcome thing since that's after I stop using it interactively.

Krisando: Does "on-peak" go towards your monthly data?

Data used between 2am to 8am is free and not taken from your remaining datacap.
Data used at other times is deducted from your data cap.

Hope that answers your question.

Yes, check your router does as well too.

Also if it's in your region http://www.telecomwholesale.co.nz/maps

We're looking to make things cheaper.

Launch is early November.

Great news!

I'm already on the naked plan, will I have to wait for my plan's anniversary or will it take effect immediately?

There won't be auto-migration due to the available iTalk plans being different.

Wait till it's released and then decide - we'll be making noise about it :)

From that comment, should I assume that if it says ADSL2+ is available in my area, that you guys can get me on TNBT?

Because everytime i check with Slingshot, they always say "not until Vodafone get into the area", which is why im asking about your reference to the Telecom Wholesale website.

If I can get it, then jeez, I would have signed up a while ago

No you can't assume that sorry. TNBT is provided via Vodafones LLU network - if you've checked your address and you can't get it, then you can't.

However, your Telecom exchange may have been upgraded, thus giving you access to ADSL2+.

Yeah just as I thought.
Just thought I had better check because it sounded a little misleading.

Without trying to take this too far off-topic, is t here any way of finding out when (approx.) vodafone will be moving into this area?

Unfortunately there are no short term plans to expand as far as I know.

I HAD to leave Slingshot, they traffic manage even on their FS/FS premium plans... couldn't even stream... my boss had the same problem trying to stream some Indian tv.

ustream is the only one that will work and work well. I think that carryon like that is a good case for net neutrality.

people in the US cant believe that we pay per gig and often cant watch things because it is so slow.
