zaf: Hey guys,

We're now doing the cleanup on the root cause, and checking everythings back up.

What is still down for you?

I'm expecting maybe voice dialing maybe down for some customers. We're literally right now bringing the services back up.

my SIP trunks with callplus seem to have come back up in the last few minutes, so i think i'm all back online at work & at home.

On the bright side the timing wasn't too bad, could have been at 6pm

timing couldnt have been worse for me.... i was in the middle of a massive data migration into the cloud for a client... i had to back out of a few hours of work and start over... :|

If you wanted, you could click on the link above and then enter your mobile number and account number and get a text when the issue's been fixed.  I have copied and pasted this from Slingshot's website to help you out, save having to keep reboot your router every few minutes to keep checking.  Hope this helps.

Most issues are resolved now we are still ironing out a number of smaller server issues.

Thanks

The big question is how did a single DC failure take out so much of your network? No DR site?

Something must still be wrong, had my mother come home from work since alot of her work is internet based, and their net has been down all day, syncs but no PPP. Hmmm.

Yes, having issues here in Hamilton as well - fine until about an hour ago, now having odd DNS/connectivity issues e.g. can get to Gmail and Slingshot website, but can't resolve any other sites at present.

Getting DNS issues here on Slingshot, and also on multiple CallPlus business connections in Auckland at the moment. Quite irritating having to tunnel all of our traffic via America!

Hi All,

Seems we are having some Intermittant issues stemming from last night?s issues and about 1 hr ago we lost users for a small amount of time, Since then we are noticing, as you are some international browsing problems.

I am investigating now and will let you know as soon as i have more,

Cheers,
Joe.
