I understand its fairly pointless to use a 3rd party DNS in NZ but it's only being used on a separate media center. For some reason when setting the custom DNS its not registering it at all. I've tested it with a ton of different DNS now including openDNS.

While I have no ni idea if this is actually being done or not it's certainly something that would deliver significant benefits to Slingshot.

Yes I understand the downsides but its only being used on a separate machine for netflix etc.

Caching is turned off via the slingshot website a while ago.

OpenDNS and Google DNS are working fine here with Slingshot Unlimited.

Hey

Many of our customers use custom DNS, myself included, for reasons I would rather not mention Tongue Out.

But there should be no issue with it.

Are you still having the issue or have you sorted it from your side? If you PM me we can go through a few things.
