Topic # 106207 19-Jul-2012 14:09 Send private message

So I get a email saying that I'm in the draw for a holiday as I'm a Orcon customer.  Only problem is I have'nt been a Orcon customer for years.

Do i still get to keep the holiday if I win? Smile

I was also just about to post about this.

I got the email

I've never been an Orcon customer

I've never entered any competitions or given them my email address.

Looks like SPAM

Are you sure it's from Orcon, and not a phishing attempt to collect username/passwords?

I got the same email. I was an Orcon dialup customer way back in 2004, but haven't been since then.

They don't ask for any details from you.

Hi all,
It appears my colleague has made a error, and included some past customers in the mailout.
Apologies if you were one of them and we got your hopes up/ confused you.
It was simple human error I am afraid.
Sorry!

I haven't been a customer for 8 years.  Why do you even have my email address anymore?

(It's not an orcon email address)

I know this is a week old, but I was in Fiji last week! ;) I'm a customer and never got an email. I wonder if I'm in the draw, I wouldn't mind going back... :)
