I have been pulling my hair out trying to set a manual record time for tonight's Olympic closing ceremony on Media Portal. I don't trust the EPG for TVNZ which chopped off the opening ceremony.  So how to set a manual start and stop time.  I can't find a way of doing it. Have searched the MP forums and some people mention a timer button in the mytv screen but I don't have a timer button anywhere I can see.

It must be easy, it seems like such a simple thing to want to do.

Cheers
Andy

Go to MyTV then schedular, there should be set up basic recording, or advance recording, both allowing you to set a time for the recording.

Under mytv I don't have a "schedular" option.  There is a scheduled but that only shows forward recordings.

I am running
TV-Server Version: RC2
MediaPortal Version: RC2 SVN 07-11-2008

Ok, got it.  All the options under scheduled were grayed out so I thought you couldn't select them but you can.

Thanks for the help.
