It appears from the attached link that a dish of 100 - 125cm will suffice (C band).
Is this dimension based on a solid dish or on a mesh dish?
How much bigger a mesh dish has to be to get the same signal as a solid dish? Double? There are 2.2m mesh dishes on TradeMe from time to time (apparently used for chinese sattelites).
I would be interested to add "Australia Network Pacific" and "BBC World News" to my FTA package. Looking through the TV schedule, they both have a decent number of documentaries. If someone is watching these, do you find them worth to get? (I am not comparing them with the Sky documentaries, of course...)
Can I use a 22kHz tone switch to switch from the C band LNB to the Ku band LNB I am using now to get the Optus D2 @ 152 deg E? I believe this will not raise any problem.
