I have a mate coming over from Aus, and I was keen to get him to get one of these for me:
Will this work here in NZ?

I expect not.
Some areas of Australia had different channel spacings. A bit like the option to change AM/FM chanels spacing on some radios etc. Anyway, it wasn't that compatibile with NZ.
Also it's really tricky when they say it can do MPEG4 etc as often it can play that type of file, but the tuner section itself can't receive it, if that makes sense.
So basically probably no, but if it does work then let us all know!
