I'm out of the country so have no idea - but have TV3 ditched the widescreen aspect ratio.  Laughing

60Minutes from Sept 30 appears to have been shot in 4:3

This from tv3 ondemand.

lots of interlacing artifacts as well. Just terrible terrible.
They have monkeys running the TV3 website or something?

I could just about guarantee it is a processing error. Errors seem to be more common than not when it comes to the TV3 ondemand service.

Other channels add weight to people, TV3 takes kilos off.

On demand from TV3/TVNZ is a waste of time until they go HD.

+1
That looks like widescreen squashed to 4:3.

its not exactly "a waste of time".... I've used it on a few occasions when I needed to catch something I forgot to record, or something I didn't think to record. for that its very useful, even if not in HD.

Haha! I see this all the time. So much so, in fact that I assumed it was what they intended.

Flash does some weird things with aspect ratios if you are running 2 different aspect monitors. Have seen that before when I had a 4:3 main screen in 1600x1200 and a secondary 1920x1080 screen. Gave up and got another 16:9 panel to solve it.

This is purely (another) TV3 error. Nothing related to flash at all.

in this case the AR is wrong for me too, whereas it is fine on other items.  I'd say an encoding error is most likely.
