There has been a further change recently in the broadcast of TV3 that seems to have relieved some of the performance problems since the 25 /09 hit.

Being reported is that JC Matthews PVR is no longer sluggish on playback.

Is anyone else noticing a change

I have the occasional pause on tv3 using a hauppauge nova-s tuner on my media center, I had it with Win7 so I installed Win8 and still the same problem.  If im recording and play back the recording the glitch isn't there which is so weird.

I can't work it out, its not codecs, its not OS, it's not drivers.... puzzled!

It's only since tv3 started messing around.

The remote on my garage STB is working ok now. I think even before the change there was something happening causing some lag, just it was barely acceptable lag, its quite a bit more responsive than even before the change over to regionalize the tv3 stuff.

Latest New is that TV3 (Mediaworks) have applied a further change to their transmission.

* Removed redundant data.

The units that took a performance hit are now almost back to normal.
