Hi All

Does anybody out there have any recomendations for a aerial installer on the Kapiti coast and a good reliable DVB-T PVR? I am finally getting rid of  my MYSky unit and want to go over to Freeview.

Cheers Paul.

Any Panasonic unit is recommended. Good features, easy to use and most of all - reliable.

Given the number of postings about other units problems I'd stick with Panasonic.
Never had a problem with mine.

I've had a Panasonic PVR (HD records two channels, also has HDD and DVD/Blu Ray recorder). I use it to time shift 3 News and Campbell live each evening series linked, and other shows.  I also use MySky+ because I like movies and sport and I can be recording 4 shows at peak times.   The latest Panasonics remain well supported as they always have been, from an established supplier, and you can probably get a good deal from JB HiFi.   I purchased a $1499 unit for $1100 in the early freeview days (over two years ago?) and the price has fallen since then and features increased, as they do.   You can even do basic editing to HDD and output it to DVD/BR if you want to compile your favourite TV shows minus commercials and overruns.
