Hi,

The AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 4850E Socket AM2 2.5GHz 45W CPU is what i've set my heart on as the final piece for my HTPC. Now this CPU seems to be available everywhere but NZ, does anyone know why? or if there is someone selling them in NZ?

I'm of to Aus in a few weeks and will pick one up there, but would prefer to buy local.

Thanks.

I have the same problem.  I've been waiting since March for this CPU to arrive and there is still no sign.  They've been available in Australia for at least a month.  I'm about ready to give up and just get a 4800.

I ended up buying the 4450e from Excallibur in the States. Just arrived today so looking forward to getting the system built now. The 4450e runs at 2.3GHz and also only uses a measly 45w.
