I just completed the installation of a 90cm offset dish pointing to IS5 @ 169 (BBC and Australia Network on C band) with another two offset LNBs pointing to Optus D1 @ 160 (Freeview) and Optus D2 @ 152;
When connected to the stand-alone STB, the signal strength is:
50% on IS5
98% on D1
80% on D2
All channels are tuning very well on the STB.
My problem is that I want to have them on my HTPC (see signature for configuration).
Until now I had only D1 and D2 and a tone switch worked perfectly with the HTPC for a couple of years. Now I have a 1x4 Diseqc switch and I could not find the correct way to set it up in Media Portal.
The STB has the possibility to set each of the satellites (under diseqc settings page) to "1 of 4", 2" of 4" and so on. This was very simple to set, as the diseqc switch has the connections labelled 1,2,3,4...so it was a no brainer... In just one minute all was completed...
But Media Portal has a different page when you set the diseqc, and I could not find a way to get it working.
If anyone succeded in doing this, any advice will be appreciated.
And one more thing: I tried everything I could think of, to get SBS, I played with the skew angle for hours and days with no luck. Any ideas about this one too?
