Yes it is, which indicates that EPG grabbing is either not turned off on the DVB-T cards or that the satellite transponders only have full data for the channels on those transponders and now/next for the others. I keep separate channels in MP and use the EPG Collector for EPG...

Okay, I can confirm that each transponder only has full EIT EPG for the channels on that transponder. No "EIT other" table.

@mcraenz: do you have the idle EPG grabber enabled, because I wonder whether the timeshifting EPG grabber would actually grab data from the DVB-T tuner [unintentionally - as a bug] or be smart enough to grab data from the DVB-S tuner [as it should] when you're actually timeshifting on the DVB-T version of a channel.

I can confirm that I have disabled EPG grabbing on both DVB-T cards... Will upload the logs as soon as I can to see better what's going on.

I've also ticked the "grab EPG only for channels on the same transponder" option.

Looks like I have both enabled. Could this be my problem?

Quite possibly. Try disabling the timeshifting one please and see how you go.

I don't want to speak too soon, but I think that this has solved my problem. I did the following two things and then refreshed the EPG:

1. Checked the "grab EPG only for channels on the same transponder" option
2. Unchecked the "EPG grabbing while timeshifting/recording" button

I then refreshed the EPG

After about 10 - 15 minutes the EPG regenerated and I can see that I have the full 7 days on the previously problematic channels.

Fingers crossed, and thanks!!!

Is this a bug do you think? If so, should I try to reproduce the problem and post again with logs?

Yeah you might be on to something there.  I've only ever used grabbing while idle. I run my TVServer 24/7 so it's never been an issue.

I've got to be honest - I hate EPG issues! I find them really hard to deal with so I'm happy we have a good result in this case. I can try and find some time to look into the EPG grabbing logic, but it probably won't be this week. I'm just too busy...

Yeah it would be good to have the logs Blur, I might be able to take a wee look too. To be honest I wrote the original code for "Disable EPG grabbing on card x" Surprised (For the exact reason of NZ DVB-T now and next data)  But that was before the grab epg while timeshifting feature was added, well that's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Cool - I'll see what I can do later today.

Can confirm everything is all still working so I am very happy

A big thanks to mcraenz and mm1352000 for their help on this one, you guys are invaluable on this forum.
