yep that is what I checked and had confirmed 3-4 times. the guy at the shop didn't really want to go into too much detail (store was really busy) but he said that is correct but we don't advertise it.

really enjoying my S3.

Im on the $89 and will 100% go back to the $39 after 6 months if its true of course.

Couldve sworn when doing my due diligence it seemed as though staying on the $89 plan was the least costly.

Im on the $89 and will 100% go back to the $39 after 6 months if its true of course.

Couldve sworn when doing my due diligence it seemed as though staying on the $89 plan was the least costly.


you will be able to change back to the $39 plan after 6 billing periods without any charge. had confirmation on the one and store. I wasn't completely sure what 6 billing periods completely meant i.e. did it have to be 6 complete months or 6 invoices. either way doesn't worry me too much. it was such a good deal.

The fine print on some of those offers does say you will loose the extras if you downgrade - bonus data and minutes will be goneburgers. Not sure if the same applies to the Touch2Pay offer.

ETA - the Touch2Pay offer bonuses runs out before 6 months anyway. Smile

You're right the Touch2Pay will expire on New Year's. So less than 6 months anyway :)

I can only think this was an oversight in their T&Cs or their backend processes don't for a different T&C to apply so that are just taking the hit.

When I talked to the 2degrees store he said they were told not to tell people but that they could confirm my understanding was correct

I think they are just expanding their customer base as much as they can..


it's working in my case. everything has gone so well I am bring 3 maybe 4 other people with me.

Don't forget that we are with them for 24 months (firstly) and they have a huge number of clients switching from other providers (secondly) and also not everybody knows about this 6 months switch back thing. So some will pay $89 for 2 years.
